It really is amazing the difference 12 months makes. Here is Zac, on January 1 this year. And here is is today. Chalk and cheese.
Joel loves Thomas, and really anything to do with trains. This photo is from a few months ago now, but he’s still as addicted to his Thomas.
Recently, we went to a party of a good friend. Zoe had her face painted.
Especially anything that has trains inside the book!
Zac likes chocolate yoghurt. So does his face.
It was a good day, for we tired out the Joel-meister.
Zoe is a good runner. She runs for some time and isn’t puffed when she stops.

Zac had his first ever trip to the beach – fittingly Burleigh Beach. He toppled over and got some sand on his face, but thought it was all rather funny.
Or, sometimes a run. (The cameraman was running backwards)
The beach regularly received our patronage.
Here is the view facing east. 6:29am. Level 26, Burleigh Surf.
The view from level 26, looking south at 5:45am. Spectacular. (Click on image for enlargement)
We’ve recently returned from a week long holiday to Burleigh – our usual holiday location. A week just is not long enough. More photos to follow. However, this is one I particularly like.
Imagine the fun you can have with a wrap.
Don’t tell him that they are girly glasses.
Fun fun fun. It’s amazing what they’ll do, when outside.
My intention at Burleigh this year was to spend lots of time with Joel. It worked. He’s now a Daddy’s boy. He cries when I leave the room. Mission accomplished (not the crying though).
It might be the middle of winter, and the shortest day of the year, but Zoe went for a swim.
Look out, says Joel. He’s just realised how they have gone closer to the waves.
